An elegant fundraising event at Claridges, aimed at supporting the vital palliative care provided by St John’s Hospice, skillfully employed sealed paper bidding and featured exclusive charity items for auction.

Our Story

Claridges Dinner was held to raise important funds for St John’s Hospice. The charity provides specialised palliative care, completely free of charge, to more than 4,000 patients and their family members every year. Sealed paper bidding was chosen for this event due to the small audience size and, as they were of an older generation, this more traditional method of bidding was used. Six charity items were also included, 100% of the proceeds for these items would go to the charity.

Superstars work together with charities and fundraising events to maximise their live and silent auction results. For this particular event, our top three selling items on the evening where the Ascot Box, Lionel Messi Signed Shirt and a piece of art by Daniel Mernagh, they raised over £1,000.
