Taste of Carcassonne
Enjoy a once in a lifetime culinary experience to the historic city of Carcassonne in southern France for a weekend filled with black truffles, Michelin star cooking, regional wine and the legendary cassoulet dish. You and your guest will be part of a small exclusive group exploring the medieval city whilst staying at the 5* Hotel de la Cite. Highlights of the trip include a truffle-inspired tasting menu dinner, full wine service within the Michelin star La Barbacane restaurant, a truffle hunt in the French countryside and visit a the Ampélofolies of Carbardès Festival for a truffle auction where prices for a 1kg of truffle can reach upwards of £1,000. You will also visit a traditional Saturday morning French market, enjoy a traditional cassoulet dinner at Chateau Saint Martin, visit the local winery Chateau Saint Jacques d’Albas for a tasting and a visit a truffle museum.
Valid for the 25th-27th January 2020 only based upon 2 people sharing a superior double bedroom, dinner each night (including a truffle-inspired Michelin star dinner), wine service at dinner, lunch, breakfast, transfers, guides, local taxes, tours, and museum entrance. Flights and transfers are not included.
